If you are looking for good flats fishing at Playa del Carmen, with out a doubt, world famous Bocapaila and Ascension Bay flats are your best choice.

Bocapaila lagoons are only 50 minutes from Playa del Carmen, one more hour and you will be in Ascension Bay (it's worth it) and it's world famous flats. We chose the area according to your preference or weather conditions.

Ascension Bay Bonefishing is the saltwater fly fishing experience at it's best. Crystal clear water flats. Variety is the word to describe Ascension Bay and Bocapaila flats. You can find here every fish from the Caribbean Flats:

Bonefish, provides plenty of action year round, average size is 3- 5 pounds with some bigger ones.

Tarpon and it's explosive jumps are always the excitement, August through December are the best months.

Snook is strong and fun, aggressive barracudas on fly or spinning, jacks. December through March.
