Akumal is a quiet place with no nightclubs. For serious nightlife you are better off heading to Cancun or Playa del Carmen.

There are a couple of restaurants that serve cocktails located just after the Hotel las Casitas Arch and La Cancha (the basketball court).

There are other restaurants and bars along the road heading south from the arch as well.
