Minimum depth 12 m (40 ft). Maximun depth 18 m (60 ft). Impressive coral structures reaching some 6 m (20 ft) above the sea bottom. Short channels cut through the reef, and you may sometimes encounter sleeping nurse sharks and hunting barracuda. |

One of the most popular places for the cavern and cave diving. An exciting jungle ride takes you to its isolated location where you drop down into a bat cave. "Two Eyes" named after the two cenotes which do connect. This is where footage for the IMAX film "Journey into Amazing Caves" was shot. Here you can experience one of the most magnificent underwater cavern ecosystems in the world. You can also explore the "Bat Cave" without getting wet. This place is worth a visit if you are interested in cenotes. |
